The Apollo Intensa Emozione is perhaps the most
striking hypercar of the moment, featuring a crazy sharp bodywork that mixes
organic shapes with the proportions of an GT1 race car. The company, which partnered with
motorsport specialist HWA to complete the development of the IE, has said that
they are going to build just 10 examples of the stunning hypercar. Pricing is
estimated at around $2.6 million for each one.
The Intensa Emozione is built upon a carbon tub and
features all-carbon bodywork. Apollo claims that the hypercar tips the scales
at just 1,250 kg. Power comes from a Ferrari-sourced naturally
aspirated 6.3-liter V12 that can rev over 9,000 rpm and produces 769 hp and
560 lb-ft of torque.
The all-carbon theme continues to the front and rear
subframes as well. The suspension features adaptive Bilstein dampers and
adjustable anti-roll bars. Apollo says that it will offer the option of an even more powerful
version, with the naturally aspirated engine pushing out 1,000hp and revving
past 11,000rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential
transmission from Hewland.
