This is the WEY P8 GT PHEV, a sporty SUV-coupe
version of the WEY P8 SUV. The P8 GT comes with a giant black beak with a shiny
edge around, sharp looking lights, and gigantic mirrors mounted on the doors.
The WEY P8 GT is powered by a 4-wheel drive plug-in
hybrid drivetrain with a 2.0 turbo, a Belt Starter Generator (BSG), and an
electric motor over the rear axle. Combined output stands at 340 horses and 524
Nm. Gearbox is a 6-speed DCT. This is the same setup as on the P8 SUV.
WEY claims a 0-100 in 6.5 seconds, a
210 km/h top speed, a 50 kilometer all-electric range, a 600 kilometer combined
range, and a fuel consumption of 2.3 liters per 100 kilometers. The numbers for
the P8 GT won’t be far off. Size is 4790/1940/1672 mm, wheelbase is 2950 mm, and curb weight 2281 kg.
