Honda has released pricing details for the 2018
CR-V, which will arrive in showrooms across the United Kingdom in September. Available in four grades, namely
the S, SE, SR and EX, it has a starting price of £ 25,995 for the base model, with two-wheel drive and manual transmission, which packs a
lot of standard gear.
Standard kit across the range includes reversing
camera and parking sensors, and a suite of safety features such as Lane
Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision Warning, Collision
Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition and
adaptive cruise control.
The SE starts from £ 27,855, but if
you want to benefit from smart entry and start, active cornering lights, front
windscreen de-icer and leather trim inside, then you’re better off with the SR,
which can be had from £ 31,435.
As for the EX, it starts at £ 34,145 and adds hands-free access power tailgate, panoramic glass
sunroof, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats and head-up display. Honda says the 2018 CR-V SR and
EX also come with Blind Spot Warning and Cross Traffic Monitoring, whereas the
CVT-equipped versions of the SUV benefit from the low-speed follow function.
The Euro-spec Honda CR-V is powered by a
turbocharged 1.5-liter petrol engine. It delivers 173 PS and
220 Nm of torque with a six-speed manual gearbox, and 191 PS and 243 Nm of torque when married to a CVT.
