Skoda’s revised Fabia supermini will enter the UK
market next month, featuring an all-new petrol line-up, hatch and estate body
styles and five trim level options, including the Monte Carlo and Color
Edition. Due to increased demand for petrol engines, the 2018 Skoda Fabia has
three such units, boasting the following power outputs: 75 PS, 95 PS and 110 PS, the latter also available with an optional 7-speed
DSG automatic.
All models feature LED daytime running lights as
standard, as well as Front Assist and a Multi-function trip computer. As you
might have guessed, the starting price of £ 12,840 OTR is for the entry-level
Fabia S version.
Move upwards to the Fabia SE (from £ 14,115 OTR), and
you gain front fog lights and 15-inch Cygnus alloys, as well as Radio Swing
Plus and auto up/down functions for the electric windows. Meanwhile, Color
Edition versions, priced from £ 14,665, come with 16-inch Vigo wheels in white,
silver or black.
The SE L spec on the other hand offers Amundsen
sat-nav, Infotainment Online (for one year), lighting in the front center
console and 16-inch Evora lloys. As for the flagship Monte Carlo spec, which
costs upwards of £ 16,785, it comes with climate control, LED rear lights, rear
electric windows and new seat upholstery. This styling package also includes a
black front spoiler, black roof, black floor mats and carbon effect dashboard
trim.
Options available on the updated Fabia include
Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear View Camera, Driver Fatigue Assistant and for the
first time on this nameplate, Full LED headlights. Also new are the Blind Spot
Detection system and Rear Traffic Alert (£ 390 RRP).
