Doing the “picturing” here is designer David
Gallego, who came up with this Ferrari F25 Concept as his master thesis
project. It took him 7 months to complete and in the end, he even had the car
3D printed and brought to life as a scale model.
Serving as inspiration for the F25 concept were
iconic 1960s models such as the 250 LM, the 330 P4, 350 Can Am, 512 S
Berlinetta Speciale and even the 512 S Modulo Concept from 1970. Other, newer
cars the designer looked at were the F12 berlinetta and of course, the
LaFerrari hypercar.
To be clear, there’s no
telling what type of hypothetical electric power unit might reside underneath
the body of this equally hypothetical design. So if we go by visuals alone, we
can easily make a case for this F25 concept looking properly futuristic – like
something out of Minority Report, only a lot more aggressive.
As for notable features, there is the large
panoramic windshield, the long wheelbase, active rear spoiler (seemingly) and
the Formula One style steering wheel.
