Seen here is an image of the Mahindra
Marazzo's interior. The
dashboard is unlike any Mahindra till date, with clean panels and a matured
look. The Marazzo sports a three-spoke steering wheel with
integrated controls for the entertainment system and cruise control. A large
instrument cluster, with an equally large multi-information display with blue
backlighting, is visible; the circular, large dials for the tachometer and
speedometer are on either side and sport a white font with blue highlights.
The centre console features a touchscreen
entertainment system, which is expected to be equipped with Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto and should also serve as the display for the reverse camera. Seen
below are controls for the HVAC, which is likely to be an automatic climate
control unit with surround AC vents for the rear. Towards the passenger side,
the dashboard gets an interesting 3D motif and a silver accent separating the
glovebox from the dash.
The Mahindra Marazzo is due to launch early next
month and will debut the 1.5-liter diesel engine reported to produce to 121 hp
and 300 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The same engine and
gearbox combo will later be seen on the Mahindra S201 sub-4 meter SUV (expected
towards the end of this financial year).
All variants of the MPV are expected with ABS, EBD
and dual airbags. When launched, the Marazzo will slot above the Mahindra Xylo,
rivalling the Maruti Ertiga and lower variants of the Toyota Innova Crysta.
