There’s a new limo in town and it’s based on a Mercedes G-Class; the rugged off-roader has been stretched before by Canadian armored limo experts Inkas but this is the new and improved version with a remodeled interior and one higher armor level, compared to the previous model.

More specifically, the Inkas G63 AMG now meets the CEN 1063 BR7 armor level, meaning its glazed shielding can withstand shots from a hi-power 7.62mm rifle. The stretched Mercedes-AMG G63 measures 6186 mm long, 2055 mm wide and 1951 mm tall. This gives it the necessary room to create one impressive rear-cabin compartment that fits just two, apparently very important, passengers.

More than half of the interior is appointed with “an ultra-premium Alcantara suede” and the rest of it dressed in top-grain exotic leather. The company’s designers have developed a new stitching technique that increases durability and maximize longevity and visual appeal.

The rear quarters also feature a 4K ultra-high-definition TV monitor with Apple TV integration, voice-activated controls through Apple Siri, a motorized bar with a built-in coolbox, as well as new and improved captain seats. The new seats can be fully reclined and feature a massage function while there’s also a new customisable ‘daylight’ headliner “specifically calibrated to mimic real sunlight” for reduced fatigue.

As for the safety features, apart from the advanced body armor and ballistic glass, Inkas’ latest limousine also comes with perimeter surveillance that includes infrared and thermal cameras that can record locally and upload to a secure cloud server.

Inkas will charge you US$ 1.2 million for a fully loaded armored Mercedes G63 limo but then again, if you need this kind of protection, then money is the least of your problems.
