The Mercedes-AMG
GLC 63 S has been subjected to the Brabus treatment and became a
menacing-looking premium compact SUV with even more power. By adding their
plug-and-play control module with new mapping for injection and ignition, the
tuner was able to raise the output of the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to 600 PS and 800 Nm of torque from the stock model’s 510 PS and 700 Nm.
With the extra
muscle, the GLC 63 S goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, or 0.2
seconds quicker than the stock model. The latter maxes out at 250 km/h,
but the Brabus 600 goes all the way up to 300 km/h.
Providing it with a
deeper tone is a stainless steel exhaust system with quad exhaust tips made
from titanium and carbon fiber that features a ‘Coming Home’ mode accessible
from the cabin,, which reduces noise so you won’t disturb the neighbors.
The sporty looks of
the Brabus 600 have an aerodynamic function, too. The tuner’s designers
developed the new bodywork components from carbon fiber, and the vehicle’s
stance has been enhanced by a set of 21-inch rims, wrapped in 265/40 and 295/35
tires, front and rear, respectively.
Other rims are
available as well, from 19 to 22 inches in size, along with the air suspension
that lowers the ride height by approximately 30mm. A selection of
leather, Alcantara, wood and carbon fiber trim, in different colors, transform
the cabin, and Brabus can also throw in aluminum door-lock pins and pedals,
stainless steel scuff plates with an illuminated logo and ambiance lighting.
Depending on how
big your budget is, the tuner can offer you either the complete ride, or will
upgrade your own AMG GLC 63 S to this specification, regardless if it’s the SUV
or the Coupe model.
