Ram is introducing a new Power Wagon Mojave Sand
package on its rugged heavy-duty truck, offering a more distinctive appearance.
It’s priced at US$ 795 and it consists mainly of a new Mojave Sand color,
all-black wheels, and an all-black cabin.
Going on sale in the fourth quarter of 2018, the
Power Wagon Mojave Sand limited edition adopts an exterior color that was
previously the best-selling paint on the Ram Rebel.
It’s the first time Mojave Sand has been available
on a Ram Heavy Duty truck, and the new paint will remain exclusive to the Power
Wagon. To provide some contrast to the exterior color, Ram has also fitted new
all-black wheels.
The interior is all-black as well and comes with the
Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen interface as standard. Also included in the Power
Wagon Mojave Sand package is the Heavy Duty Luxury Group, which consists of LED
bed lighting, overhead console power heated/fold-away mirrors, and a universal
garage door opener.
As with all Power Wagon trucks, power is supplied by
a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 that produces 410 hp and 581 Nm of torque. The
engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2018 Ram Power Wagon Mojave Sand limited edition
is available in Crew Cab 4×4 configuration. Only 1,500 trucks will be built,
each priced from US$ 54,830 (excluding US$ 1,695 destination).
