Nissan announced the pricing and range details of the 2019 Rogue, which remains the company’s top-selling model in its range. Nissan re-organized some of the options into new packages and made the 2019 Rogue the first of its models to offer the Nissan Safety Shield 360 range of active safety systems, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist and Rear Automatic Parking.

S grade models can be optioned with the new Special Edition Package, featuring 17-inch alloys, heated door mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, leather steering wheel and shift knob, heated front seats and a chrome detailing pack.

Similarly, SV grade models can be optioned with the Premium Package, that includes 18-inch alloys, ProPilot semi-autonomous tech and an electronic parking brake. All models for the 2019MY will come with Rear Door Alert and a seven-inch Nissan Connect infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

As before, power comes from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 hp and 175 lb-ft of torque, mated to the company’s Xtronic CVT transmission. Customers can still choose between front- and all-wheel drive, with the former being the more fuel efficient of the range, returning 26 mpg city, 33 mpg highway and 29 mpg combined.

Customers in the West, Northwest, Mountain and Mid-Atlantic regions will be offered the Hybrid version as well. The combined output of the hybrid powertrain is rated at 176 hp, with Nissan also offering both front- and all-wheel drive.

Prices for the 2019 Nissan Rogue start from US$ 25,795, including a US$ 995 destination and handling fee, while the 2019 Rogue Hybrid starts from US$ 28,595.
