People that buy the
BMW 7-Series are generally very wealthy and have a good eye for luxury,
refinement, and sophistication. These same owners are rarely flamboyant, making
this particular 750Li xDrive somewhat unique.
Recently delivered
to Abu Dhabi Motors, this 7-Series is finished in a shade officially dubbed
Rose Quartz. Put simply, it is a light shade of metallic pink and comes from
BMW Individual. While we don’t know if the car was commissioned directly by a
customer or if the dealership ordered and specced it, there’s certainly no
mistaking it for any other BMW.
As for the question
of what type of person would buy a pink Rose Quartz 7-Series, the obvious
answer is someone who wants to stand out from the crowd. An older businessperson
would probably opt for something a little less flashy.
Either way, the
Rose Quartz paint has been complemented nicely by some new exterior parts,
including a 3D Design front spoiler and a small M Performance lip spoiler at
the rear. A set of multi-spoked wheels complete the exterior look.
Inside, the car is
a far cry from the outside. In fact, there doesn’t appear to be a single Rose
Quartz accent in the cabin; instead, there is just an all-too-common supply of
white leather, exposed wood and black leather.
The 750Li isn’t the
top-of-the-range 7-Series available, but it’s far from lacking in the
performance department. Powering it is a V8 delivering 445 hp and 650 Nm of toque, which enables it to do the 0-100 km/h sprint in
just 4.5 seconds.
