Wanna park a Ferrari Sergio in your garage? If so,
then get ready to blow € 3,569,500 on one, or US$ 4,144,200 at the current exchange
rates. The car in question is being sold by a Belgium dealer, which claims
that you can drive it home the next day after paying the aforementioned sum.
As for the details that should interest a potential
buyer, these are the mileage – 118 km, first registration date –
January 2015, and the fact that it’s an EU-spec model, initially delivered to
Switzerland. Also, this is the example that was displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor
Show, at Pininfarina’s stand, and it’s not the first time it’s being sold.
If you’re having a hard time remembering what the
Ferrari Sergio actually is, we’ll remind you that it was created to celebrate
the late Sergio Pininfarina, and was put together in only six examples, all of
which were sold in no time.
The supercar was based upon the Ferrari 458 Spider,
welcomed a custom bodywork and more power than the usual 458s. In fact, the
naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine came in the exact same specification as
the one in the 458 Speciale, meaning 605 PS.
Back when it was still new, the Ferrari Sergio was
one of the fastest accelerating convertibles in the world, with a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of only 3 seconds, and it’s very fast even by today’s
standards.
