The Mahindra Marazzo is available with a variety of
accessories. Imagining the MPV with ruggedness for a higher lifestyle purpose,
IAB’s automotive illustrator Shoeb Kalania has created a rendering of an
Adventure variant.
The Mahindra Marazzo Adventure rendered has a number
of styling and utility enhancements. At the front, it features a large lower
air intake, side air vents, repositioned fog lamps and bonnet decals at the
front. On the sides, changes include fender flares, black ORVM caps and black
alloy wheels wrapped in beefier tyres. Up top, there’s a roof box installed on
the roof rails for extra storage space useful for sports equipment. Yellow
lower body highlights make the MPV a tad sportier.
M&M offers two body kits for the Marazzo, namely
Premium and Executive. However, we don’t see an Adventure variant with the same
or a different name arriving anytime soon as there are SUVs Scorpio &
XUV500 better at this job. In the next stage, the company will work on
upgrading the diesel engine to comply with BSVI emission norms and introducing
petrol engine and automatic transmission options.
The Mahindra Marazzo is 4,585 mm long, 1,866 mm wide
and 1,744 mm high. It has a 2,780 mm wheelbase, and it is available 7- and
8-seat versions. It offers 190 litres of luggage space with all seats upright.
Under the hood is a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 121 bhp and 300 Nm of
torque. A 6-speed manual transmission sends power to the front wheels.
Projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels,
roof-mounted air vents with surround cool technology, front seats with
adjustable lumbar support, aircraft-inspired parking brake, 7-inch touchscreen
infotainment system with GPS navigation and Android Auto and four-wheel disc
brakes are some of the salient features of the Mahindra Marazzo. Prices start
at 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
