The new Aprilia SR150 was spotted with a semi-digital instrument console. The aforementioned semi-digital instrument console features an analogue speedometer. Other ride related information like the odometer, two trip meters, fuel gauge and clock are displayed through a digital display. The ‘Mode’ and ‘Set’ buttons could be used to toggle and reset the trip meters or to adjust the digital clock. Apart from the new digital console, the scooter was equipped with standard switchgear that included high/low beam switch with integrated pass-light, turn indicator and horn on the left side. On the right is the starter switch.

The scooter on display was equipped with an underseat USB charger but that is an optional accessory. Visually, the new Aprilia SR150 was seen with a blue paint accompanied by red and black graphics. Moreover, the saddle featured a dual tone finish. Rest of the hardware remains identical to the previous model. Thus, you’d spot the conventional telescopic front suspension at the front, 14-inch tubeless tires, and a disc brake at the front an apron mounted twin-pod headlight and a split grab rail for the pillion.

Mechanical specifications would continue to feature a 154.4cc, four-stroke, air-cooled carbureted engine that is tuned to produce 10.4 bhp of maximum power and 11.4 Nm of peak torque. The new model is expected to carry a marginal premium over the outgoing version. For reference, the standard SR150 is sold at INR 70,348 while the Race Edition is available for INR 74,713 (both prices are ex-showroom).

We’re yet to hear details from Aprilia about the Indian launch of the new SR150 but with the scooter already in showrooms, we should receive an official announcement soon.
