The entire Royal Enfield Classic 350 range has been updated with rear disc brake, priced at INR 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). Initially, rear disc brake was only available on the Redditch Edition and the Classic 350 Gunmetal Grey option.

The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 range sources the rear disc brake and the swingarm from the Thunderbird 350. Braking force comes from a 280 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear rotor. Apart from these changes, the bike is unchanged. Royal Enfield is set to update its entire product line-up with ABS by the end of this year.

To recap, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 features a circular fuel tank, round headlight with chrome bezel, wide handlebar, analogue speedometer and twin seats. The motorcycle uses a steel tubular single-cradle chassis to suspend the engine and the suspension.

Powering the Classic 350 is a 346 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, two-valve, air-cooled engine that is capable of generating 19.8 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm, mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Classic 350 gets a fuel tank capacity of 12.7 litres and a kerb weight of 184 kg.
