Vespa has this week announced
that the first Vespa electric scooter will be available to preorder during
October 2018. The Piaggio Group responsible for creating the iconic scooters
will start production of Vespa Elettrica in September. The highly anticipated
electric version of the world’s “most famous and beloved scooter “will be
produced at the Pontedera plant in the province of Pisa, the same one where
Vespa first rolled off the line in the spring of 1946.
Unfortunately, no information on pricing or
worldwide availability has been released as yet, but as soon as information
