The full range of
accessories set to be offered alongside the 2019 Ford Ranger has leaked online
thanks to the Ranger 5G forum. All in all, Ranger owners will have more than 75
accessories from the factory to choose from when creating their perfect pickup.
These accessories range from visual modifications to special carriers that
cater towards a host of different recreational hobbies customers may have.
On the purely
visual front, they can specify 18-inch black wheels and fender flares, though
it remains unclear if these fenders are identical to those used by the Ranger
Raptor. Other accessories include at least two different exterior graphics
designs, an exterior trim kit with hood lettering, bespoke chrome exhaust tips and
a bull bar.
As for the
aforementioned carriers, Ford has designed racks and carriers that support
everything from kayaks to paddleboards, skis and snowboards. Not all pricing
details have been announced, but the paddleboard carrier is priced at a reasonable US$ 150, while the Ski Carrier Adapter will set buyers back US$ 269 and support up to
6 pairs of skis and four snowboards.
There are also
dozens of accessories designed for the pickup truck’s bed. These include US$ 107
bed rails, a storage box, tailgate lock, different liners, and six tonneau
covers, including soft and hard ones. Customers also have various interior
options like all-weather floor mats, seat covers, floor liners, and chrome door
sill plates.
Regardless of what
accessories 2019 Rangers are ordered with, all (except the Raptor) are powered
by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder delivering 270 hp and 420 Nm of torque. Pricing for the new Ranger starts at US$ 25,395.
