Hennessey Performance (HPE) has introduced the final
addition to its range of Heritage Edition vehicles, which are influenced by the
Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition. The 2019 Heritage F-150 is the vehicle in
question here, and it joins the 2019 Heritage Mustang that was revealed back in
August this year, as well as Hennessey’s 2005 Ford GT and 2018 Ford GT Heritage
Edition.
Based on the F-150 Crewcab pick-up truck with a 5.0
litre V8, HPE added a 2.9 litre supercharger, high-flow air intake, catback
exhaust system and upgraded the fuel system components. The result is 758 hp
and 894 Nm of torque, which translates to a 0-96 km/h time of just
4.3 seconds and a quarter-mile drag time of 12.6 seconds at 180 km/h.
Customers will not to fork out at least US$ 94,950 to secure one of these Heritage Edition trucks, but only 19 units
will be made (available for export to international markets). The lucky few who
can own one will be able to configure their purchase in either a sport truck
(lowered) or an off-road ready (lifted) setup.
Should you prefer the sport truck look, a lowering
kit, sway bars, Brembo brakes and 22-inch wheel with tyres will be fitted. For
the more traditional off-road fan, the package includes LED lights, Hennessey
bumpers, 20-inch 10-spoke wheels with 35-inch tyres, a three-inch lift kit and
a front suspension levelling kit.
Regardless of your choice, you’ll get the Heritage
Edition livery graphics as standard along with, embroidered headrests, exterior
badging, serial numbered dash and engine plaques, engine calibration and a
three-year warranty.
