Triumph Street Twin has been updated for 2019, including new aluminium wheel rims and instrument display. Other detail items have also been upgraded, including the headlight brackets with machined headlight detailing, tank emblem and seat material.

Triumph has also given the Street Twin’s 900 cc HT parallel-twin a power boost, up by 18% or 65 PS total, over the previous generation, with the rev limit bumped up by 500 rpm. Torque remains the same at 80 Nm at 3,800 rpm and all these improvements were brought about with a new lightweight crankshaft, dead shafts, balance shafts and lighter clutch.

Moreover, improvements from the aspect of ride ergonomics for both the rider and pillion in have been brought about by use of a 120 mm travel front fork. Braking on the Street Twin is also upgraded with Brembo supplying a four-piston calliper for the front brake.

Two new ride modes are standard on the 2019 Street Twin, giving the rider a choice between road or rain, ABS braking and traction control. Other rider conveniences include a USB charging socket, LED rear light, immobiliser and Torque Assist clutch that lightens lever effort.

Three colour choices are offered for the standard model 2019 Triumph Street Twin – Matt Ironstone, Korosi Red and Jet Black. A full range of accessories is available from the official Triumph catalogue as well as two upgrade kits – Urban Ride and Cafe Custom – that allow for the rider to customise the Street Twin to his or her taste.
