G-Power has just released its Typhoon package for the previous-gen BMW X5. The
bundle of upgrades revolves around the exterior of the brand’s flagship SUV and
gives it a very menacing look. Muscular wheel arches on all four corners,
reworked front bumper with wider air intakes, updated rear bumper with new
diffuser, and bespoke side skirts contribute to the unique stance of this X5.
Optionally, the
tuner can fit the German SUV with a carbon fiber hood, said to have been
designed to work with the revised front air intakes that draw excess heat from
the engine compartment. A titanium exhaust system, with four 102 mm tailpipes, is also available, alongside G-Power’s Hurricane RR signature alloy
wheels.
Named after the
top-speed record BMW M5, the ultra-light forged alloy rims measure a monstrous
23 inches in diameter and come with 315/25 high-performance tires to emphasize
the tuned X5’s looks. For the right sum, G-Power will also uprgade the
vehicle’s engine, regardless if it’s running on petrol or diesel. As for the
range-topping models of the series, the X5 M50d and X5 M, these are said to
benefit from as much as 455 PS and 870 Nm of
torque, and 750 PS and 980 Nm of torque.
