The 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas is only four days
away, and automakers and tuners alike are making the final preparations for the
event. Mopar will display a total of 14 personalized rides, including the new
Ram 1500 Rebel and 1500 Big Horn Low Down concepts, which were just unveiled
online.
Painted in Rebel Smoke, a custom neutral blue shade,
the Ram 1500 Rebel features a lot of extra parts from Mopar. These include the
lift kit that raises the body by 5.1 cm, additional lights, rear
spare tire carrier, rear bed step, black spary-in bedliner, off-road running
boards and wheel flares.
Mopar has also added Grey Metallic skid plates for
better protection on arduous terrains, performance hood, Satin Black Rebel
graphics, 5-inch gloss black exhaust tips, 8×18-inch cast-aluminum bedlock
wheels with a Rebel Smoke look and 35-inch Goodyear DuraTrac tires, and Grey
Metallic badging.
Black dominates the cabin, giving it a special look
compared to the stock red anodized Rebel trim. Completing the visual work are
some more Mopar accessoris, including the brushed and polished door sill guards
with the ‘RAM’ logo, pedal kit, wireless charging for mobile devices and
all-weather mats.
Mopar says the 5.7-liter HEMI engine has been tuned
to deliver additional performance with a cold-air intake system, although an
exact number wasn’t provided. The Ram 1500 Big Horn Low Down Concept comes with
a two-tone look on the outside, combining Billet Silver with Gloss Black and a
Brass Monkey stripe. All exterior badging is finished in gloss black, and the
pickup truck features wheel flares, hard tonneau cover, 22-inch wheels and a
lowering kit for a more aggressive stance.
Inside, Mopar has added brushed polished door sill
guards with the RAM logo, conceptual bright pedal kit and all-weather mats,
whereas the HEMI engine uses the same cold-air intake system as the 1500 Rebel
concept.
