TVS has launched
a refreshed Wego in India. The updated model costs INR 53,027 (ex-showroom
Delhi). TVS sold the old Wego in Midnight Black, Deep Sky
Blue, Mercury Grey, Metallic Orange, Volcano Red and Sporty White single-tone
colours as well as Orange Black, Blue Black and Red Black dual-tone colours. It
offers the new Wego in only four colours: Red, Blue, Grey and Black. It has
introduced completely new graphics for the urban scooter with the latest update.
The new TVS Wego is equipped with several new
features, such as a sporty seat, sporty wheel-rim stickers, pass-by-switch, a
20-litre utility box and a maintenance-free battery. Other highlights of the
scooter include full metal body, digital speedometer, externally placed fuel
lid, LED tail lamp, telescopic front suspension and rear mono-shock.
The TVS Wego measures 1,834 mm in length, 640 mm in
width and 1,115 mm in height. It has a 1,275 mm wheelbase. It employs a 110 cc
air-cooled engine that produces 7.99 PS at 7,500 rpm and 8.4 Nm of
torque at 5,500 rpm. This engine is paired with a continuously variable
transmission. With a fuel economy rating of 62 km/l, the TVS Wego is the most
frugal offering in its segment.
