Nissan introducing a unique Titan for the American Red Cross. Dubbed the Ultimate Service Titan, the one-off model is based on the Titan XD Diesel Crew Cab Midnight Edition and features a host of upgrades which allow it to serve as a mobile command center when disaster strikes.

Set to celebrate its public debut at the Miami Auto Show later this week, the Ultimate Service Titan has a rugged front bumper, auxiliary lighting units and a roof rack. The truck has also been equipped with a Warn winch and a bed box from B&S Customizing.

Since Florida is prone to hurricanes which can make the roads virtually impassible, the Titan has a three-inch lift kit which includes height-adjustable coil-over shock absorbers, custom rod ends and Delta Joints. The truck also has Icon wheels which are wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.

Since getting to disaster areas is only part of the challenge, the bed box has been equipped with a desk, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a solar generator which uses to solar panels to create electricity. Besides being able to function as a command center, the bed box can help treat injured survivors thanks to its bed and stockpile of medical supplies.

The Titan also has a built-in refrigerator which can be used to transport blood to hospitals in need. In non-disaster situations, the truck can also be used to host mobile blood drives. Since rescue efforts take a toll on first responders, the Ultimate Service Titan has been designed to provide them with a place to rest and grab a bit to eat. As a result, the climate controlled bed box has two couches and a mini kitchen which includes a stove, microwave, sink and refrigerator.

Power comes from a familiar 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8 engine which develops 310 hp and 751 Nm of torque. It is connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and what we assume is a four-wheel drive system.

Following its debut at the Miami Auto Show, the Titan will be donated to the Red Cross in South Florida.
