Enter TechArt’s new Panamera Sport Turismo tuning
project, the GrandGT Selective. Envisioned as the Supreme’s sporty alter ego,
it combines a handcrafted interior that abounds in Alcantara, with an exterior
rich in carbon fiber.
On the outside, the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo
features many full carbon fiber attachments that enhance its looks. Those
include the aero hood, mirror caps, and rear panel. In addition, TechArt has
spiced up the Porsche wagon with carbon-coated highlights.
Consisting of front and rear aprons, extensions,
front splitter, diffuser, and air outlet panel, they combine to give the
Panamera Sport Turismo a more aggressive look. Other styling tweaks include the
titanium tailpipes with carbon fiber coating, the 22-inch Formula V alloys, and
the two-part paintwork combining a matt black paint with high-gloss riviera
blue accents. Things are looking spectacular inside too, as the GrandGT
Selective adopts a 2+2 bi-color Alcantara interior that echoes the bodywork’s
paint scheme.
The cabin is mostly black, but it features an array
of riviera blue accents, especially on the driver’s side. Everything is lined
with Alcantara with decorative stitching, even the floor. High-gloss black
decorative parts round off the interior upgrades.
As with the GrandGT Supreme, the GrandGT Selective
benefits from the TechArt Techtronic Powerkit for the Panamera Turbo.
Consequently, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8’s output increases from 550 PS to 640 PS.
Peak torque rises as well, from 770 Nm to 900 Nm. As a result, the tuned Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo
sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of
306 km/h. Interestingly, there’s more to come from TechArt when it
comes to the Porsche Panamera. The tuner will unveil a power kit for the
Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid at the Essen Motor Show in December.
