Vauxhall is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the
Corsa with the Griffin Limited Edition, priced from £ 11,695 (US$ 15,181/€ 13,238)
in the United Kingdom. The MSRP makes it only £ 405 (US$ 526/€ 458) more expensive than the
entry-level Corsa Active locally, yet it adds a bunch of equipment similar to
the SE Nav, which starts at £ 15,425 (US$ 20,023/€ 17,460). Available in three- and
five-door guise, it sets itself apart from the rest of the Corsa range thanks
to the ‘Griffin’ badges on the front fenders.
All Vauxhall Corsa Griffin models can be further
customized, thus also featuring a black-contrasting roof, side mirror casings
and grille logo bar. Also, they come with 16-inch gloss black alloy wheels and
front fog lamps.
Other standard equipment includes the satellite
navigation system, air conditioning, heated front seats, leather-wrapped and
heated steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, dusk-sensing headlights
and rain-sensing windscreen wipers.
Regardless of their selection, customers have to
settle for the 1.4-liter petrol engine, which is the sole choice offered in the
Vauxhall Corsa Griffin Limited Edition. However, they can choose between two
different outputs, namely 75 PS or 90 PS.
Both versions of the engine are Euro 6.2-compliant,
can achieve up to 49.6 mpg UK (5.7 l/100 km / 41.3 mpg US) and emit 130 g/km of
CO2.
