Drawing on its racing heritage, the boys from Mandello del Lario have launched the 2019 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Sport. Somewhat reminiscent of a flat tracker, the V9 Bobber Sport comes with a lowered single-seat saddle and drag bars.

Carrying the 90-degree transverse V-twin that is a Moto Guzzi design trademark, the V9 Bobber Sport produces 55 hp at 6,250 rpm and 61.9 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. A single dry-plate clutch and six-speed gearbox delivers the power to a double-jointed drive shaft with bevel gear.

The engine is blacked out and complemented by the slip-on exhaust, painted matte black. Twin Ohlins shock absorbers grace the rear end, with adjustable spring preload and hydraulic compression and rebound.

Decked out in a shade of orange specific to the model, the V9 Bobber Sport also comes with aluminium side panels and the Moto Guzzi eagle mascot coming in a burnished metal finish. Rubber fork gaiters give the V9 Bobber Sport that authentic retro style.

Oversized tyres are used on the 2019 Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber Sport for the flat tracker look coupled with a shortened front mudguard. The headlight now sits in a lower position between the forks and is topped by a small black aluminium fairing.
