U.S. tuner Dinan
Engineering knows a thing or two about manufacturing aftermarket performance
parts for BMW models, this being their latest work, based on the all-new F90 M5
saloon. n the outside, mods appear subtle, even though the intricate wrap with
the global pattern is pretty interesting to behold. Altogether, the car sort of
reminds us of the G-Power M5, which also featured a mild exterior tune, as if
to hide its impressive 800 PS output.
While Dinan have
yet to release full specs for their M5, we can definitely expect straight line
performance upgrades – the tuner is also no stranger to increasing potency when
it comes to BMWs. The SEMA show car features gloss black and carbon fiber
elements, tinted windows and custom wheels, creating a powerful contrast
alongside the light grey exterior. Aside from the shiny yet dark kidney grille
and the glossy badges, the German saloon also comes equipped with a carbon
fiber boot lid spoiler and a set of new forged wheels, wrapped in Toyo tires.
Again, not the most
flamboyant BMW out there, but we suspect that buyers will be a lot more
interested in potential engine upgrades, as well as any suspension components
or a custom exhaust system. Hopefully the tuner will reveal everything they’ve
been working on for the F90 M5 sooner rather than later.
As for those out
there who would prefer their BMW super saloon looking a little more sporty, we
suggest checking out both the AC Schnitzer version, as well as the Manhart MH5.
