It’s alright if you can’t remember all special
editions of the modern-day 500 made by Fiat. There’s a good chance that most
FCA execs can’t remember the exact number either. As for this latest one, it’s been
made with the help of Repetto, a French shoe company, and it’s aptly called the
Fiat 500 by Repetto.
The car wears a Bordeaux Opera finish on the outside,
joined by a dancer’s silhouette on the C pillars and a ribbon on the front
fenders. Completing the exterior design is a set of multi-spoke alloy wheels.
The special scheme has been carried out into the
cabin, where the dashboard features the same Bordeaux Opera touches. Elsewhere,
the new Fiat 500 special edition has tobacco-colored Poltrona Frau leather
upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, climate control, sat-nav, multi-function
steering wheel and other equipment.
Customers will have to choose between one of the two
petrol engines, the 1.2-liter four-cylinder with 69 PS married
to either a manual transmission or the automatic gearbox, plus the two-cylinder
TwinAir unit, making 85 PS. Pricing for the 1.2-liter model
with the automatic gearbox is € 19,340, while the TwinAir version is
€ 20,390. As for the entry-level model with the manual transmission,
that’s € 18,490.
Each unit of the Fiat 500 by
Repetto comes with a special gift box that contains a pair of ballet shoes, a
key ring and fragrance, all of them signed by the French company.
