Hyundai Motor Brasil has unveiled the Hyundai Creta
Diamond at the ongoing 2018 Sao Paulo Auto Show. The concept carries several styling upgrades tied in with
a more feature-laden interior. The company claims to have reworked more than
200 elements to create the bespoke model.
The Hyundai Creta Diamond concept comes lavished in
a 'Deep Dive Blue' exterior paint shade, body-coloured plastic cladding,
black-coloured Outside Rearview Mirrors (ORVMs), 19-inch dual-tone machined
alloy wheels, rehashed LED tail lights, and a panoramic sunroof. Moreover, the
roof, shark fin antennae, and a rear spoiler feature a black paint finish to
complete the dual-tone look. The interior features a dual-tone caramel-white
dashboard, a white multi-function steering wheel and gear knob, and microfiber
quilted seat upholstery finished in ivory and caramel.
The dashboard of the Hyundai Creta Diamond concept
has a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay, Android
Auto, Navigation, and Voice Commands. The concept model benefits from a
high-quality JBL-sourced audio system with three amplifiers, six speakers, and
a 750 Watt sub-woofer. Furthermore, the Diamond features dual 10-inch
entertainment screens for second row passengers. The rear screens can stream media
from USB, DVD, HDMI and the internet.
Powering the Hyundai Creta Diamond concept is a
2.0-litre Dual-CVVT Flex bi-fuel engine & a 6-speed automatic transmission.
It outputs a maximum power of 166 PS on ethanol & 156 PS on petrol. In
Brazil, the Hyundai Creta rivals the Honda HR-V, Nissan Juke and Renault Duster
and the upcoming VW T-Cross.
