Mercedes has announced the lineup of its LA Auto
Show display, which will include the reveal of the new limited-edition AMG GT R
PRO, an even more track-focused version of the AMG GT’s faster derivative to
date.
The new Mercedes-AMG GT R PRO features a range of
modifications, based on the company’s findings from their AMG GT3 and AMG GT4
race cars. It wasn’t that long ago when Tobias Moers hinted at a AMG GT R ‘Club
Sport’, and there it is.
Mercedes will also reveal an update for the whole
AMG GT range that will include modifications both inside and out in order to
“emphasize the close relationship to the 4-door AMG GT Coupé”. Other cars confirmed for the
upcoming show include the all-new GLE SUV, which will make its official public
premiere in USA, featuring an innovative 48V active suspension and a fully
variable all-wheel drive system.
AMG will also have on display their hybrid 53 series
models, including the CLS, E-Class Coupe and E-Class Convertible while the new
Mercedes A-Class Sedan will also celebrate its official public debut in the
USA. Visitors to the Mercedes stand will also get to see the new Sprinter
van, which is now produced at a new plant in South Carolina. The
third-generation Sprinter will offer plenty of tech, including the latest MBUX
multimedia system and modern driver assistance systems.
Mercedes will reveal its new models at the LA Auto
Show on November 28, so stay tuned.
