Automobili Pininfarina has dropped a host of new images of its long-awaited all-electric hypercar, currently known as the PF0. The Italian car manufacturer has been slowing pumping out teasers and images of the PF0 in recent months and has done the same in the lead-up to the Los Angeles Auto Show. In addition to the release of new images, Pininfarina has made a series of announcements regarding its future range of electric vehicles.

Starting with the PF0, the company has started showing off the finished car to potential clients across Europe. The most intriguing image just released is the one you see above, previewing the front and side profile of the hypercar for the very first time.

The most obvious thing you’re eyes will be drawn to is the single LED light bar which stretches across the front of the car, connecting the more traditional headlights together. Casting your eyes over the prominent front wheel arches and along the sides of the PF0 reveals a profile quite similar to the Ferrari 458 Italia.

Pininfarina has also proudly shown off the PF0’s rear fascia in full and to say it’s unlike anything we’ve seen before would be an understatement. The company’s expert designers and engineers have managed to craft out two large fins that stretch back from the rear window and appear to be propped up exclusively by a single vertical upright each. These fins also house the thin, horizontal LED taillights. Another eye-catching detail of the car’s rear is the carbon fiber rear diffuser.

As for the aforementioned announcement made by Pininfarina, the firm has announced more than 20 million euros (US$ 22.59 million) in investment to underpin the design, development, and production of the PF0 and a future range of cars. Alongside this announcement, the company has christened its future design philosophy as ‘PURA’. This design blueprint will look to create beautiful cars with advanced aerodynamics, ground-breaking engineering solutions, and extreme levels of power from electrification.

Pininfarina has previously revealed that the PF0 wil feature an electric powertrain from Rimac, reach 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds, exceed 402 km/h and have a driving range of over 482 km.
