The 2019 Honda Civic (facelift) is on display at the
ongoing Thai Motor Expo. The new model has gone on sale in Thailand at a
starting price of 874,000 Baht. The 2019 Honda Civic (facelift)
features smoked headlamps, a 'wing' element on the front grille in gloss black
finish (as compared to the chrome 'wing' on the earlier version), new chrome
accents on the foglamp housings, chrome accent on the rear bumper, and a
full-width spitter on the bumper.
On the inside, the 2019 Honda Civic features an
updated 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android
Auto. Honda Sensing Technology, which includes Collision Mitigation Braking
System with forward collision warning, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane
Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, and Adaptive Cruise Control, is
now available on the top-spec 1.5 RS trim. Other highlights of the cabin are
the redesigned steering wheel controls as well as a new centre console
cupholder. The company insists that extra sound-deadening material has been
used on the floor, trunk, and front and rear fenders.
Engine options for the Thai-spec 2019 Honda Civic
(facelift) include a 1.8-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor that outputs
141 PS and 174 Nm and a turbocharged 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 173
PS and 220 Nm. Both the motors come mated to a CVT.

The Thai-spec 2019 Honda Civic is available in five
colours - Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl,
Brilliant Sporty Blue Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl. Deliveries of the new
model will commence from January 12.
