Toyota seems to have a hard time keeping the
exterior design of the new generation Supra a secret. We already saw the entire front
end with no camouflage whatsoever a couple of weeks ago, and now it’s time to
take a look at the rear.
Posted by SupraMKV, the image shows an FT-1
Concept-inspired cues like the triangular taillights and aggressive diffuser
with F1-styled rear fog light sitting in the middle. Other similarities are the
double exhaust pipes and large, boot lid-integrated spoiler lip.
Toyota will pull the covers off the all-new Supra at
the 2019 Detroit Auto Show, on January 14. The car has been developed on the
same platform as the new BMW Z4 and, at least initially, will be offered as a
coupe, which will make its world debut at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. However,
While Chief engineer Tetsuya Tada has confirmed they are examining a possible
convertible version, too.
