Nissan was willing to put the GT-R50 prototype into production – and that they will do, making just 50 units, each one priced at € 990,000 in Europe, before taxes and optional extras.

Design-wise, the exterior will remain identical to that of the concept that was first shown to the world at the Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this year, although customers will be able to specify their own exterior and interior color choices.

Customer deliveries of the GT-R50 by Italdesign will commence in 2019 and the final examples of the car will be shipped the following year. Based on the 2018 GT-R Nismo, the GT-R50 features a distinctive bodywork and a special interior layout, as well as Bilstein adjustable dampers and Brembo brakes.

The engine has been optimized with new internals, and it now pushes out a staggering 720 PS and 780 Nm of torque. Before hitting assembly, the vehicle will be on display at the Nissan Gallery in Yokohama, Japan, from December 7.
