The Seat Tarraco is ready to pick a fight with the Hyundai Santa Fe and other crossovers in the United Kingdom. Pricing for the Tarraco, which sits above the Arona and Ateca in Seat’s SUV range, starts at £ 28,320 for the SE trim level, which gets standard metallic paint, 17-inch alloy wheels, alarm, DAB, and three-zone climate control.

The SE Technology grade is next, with an MSRP of £ 29,330. It adds 18-inch alloy wheels, dark tinted rear windows and navigation. The Xcellence trim brings wireless charger, reversing camera, electric tailgate, Alcantara upholstery, adaptive cruise control and 19-inch alloy wheels, and is priced from £ 30,410. At the top of the range is the Xcellence Lux, which starts from £ 32,135 and gets extra gear such as 20-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, winter pack and a top-view camera.

Seat is also offering three First Edition models for a limited time, each one bringing more equipment for a premium. The first one is called SE Technology, comes with the 1.5 TSI engine and can be had from £ 30,475. The other two are based on the Xcellence grade and come with either the 1.5 or the 2.0-liter TSI, with a DSG auto gearbox and four-wheel drive, priced from £ 34,745  and £ 38,020.
In addition to the 150 PS 1.5-liter and 190 PS 2.0-liter petrol engines, the 2019 Seat Tarraco can be ordered with a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine in two outputs: 150 PS and 190 PS. The latter, just like the 2.0 TSI, comes with standard auto gearbox and AWD, which are available as an optional extras in lesser versions of the oil burner-powered SUV.
