Tata Motors is now looking all set to
unveil a new top-spec trim of the Tiago. To be called 'XZ+', the top-end

The Tata Tiago XZ+ sports several features that are
restricted to the top-spec Tigor. The flagship variant features smoked
projector headlamp, 15-inch alloy wheels, side body moulding, chrome accent on
the tailgate, and a black roof. Additionally, the new model will be available
in two new colour schemes - Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue. Other colour options
include - Berry Red, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White & Titanium Grey.
On the inside, the Tata Tiago XZ+ features a 7-inch
touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto, Voice command
access and incoming SMS notification. Other highlights of the equipment list
include automatic climate control, four speakers and four tweeters,
steering-mounted audio and telephone controls, electrically foldable ORVMs,
cooled glove compartment and central locking with flip key remote. Safety
features on offer include ABS with EBD and corner stability control, dual front
airbags, rear parking sensors, and speed-sensing auto door locks.
The technical specifications remain unchanged. The
petrol version of the Tata Tiago XZ+ draws power from a 1.2-litre naturally
aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine that outputs 85 PS at 6,000 rpm and 114
Nm at 3,500 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual transmission and
a 5-speed AMT. The diesel variant is powered by a 1.05-litre turbocharged
three-cylinder mill that delivers 70 PS at 4,000 rpm and 140 Nm between
1,800-3,000 rpm. The oil-burner comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Tata Tiago range is priced between INR 3.4 -
6.05 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The XZ+ variant is expected to cost up to
INR 25,000 higher.
