Tata Motors has launched the top-end XZ+ variant of
the Tata Tiago in India, which comes with a host of features to up the premium
quotient of the car. The Tata Tiago XZ+ petrol version is priced from INR 5.57 lakh* for
the single-tone model and INR 5.64 lakh* for the dual-tone variant. On the
other hand, the diesel XZ+ single-tone costs INR 6.31 lakh* and the XZ+
dual-tone retails at INR 6.38 lakh*.
As far as additional features are concerned, the XZ+
variant comes equipped with a glossy black roof and spoiler, 15-inch dual-tone
alloy wheels (petrol engine only), body side moulding, chrome accent on the
tailgate, and two new colours – Canyon Orange and Ocean Blue.
The Tata Tiago XZ+ comes equipped with a 7-inch
ConnectNext touchscreen infotainment system by Harman that supports Android
Auto, Voice command recognition, and Incoming SMS notifications & readouts.
Convenience features include automatic climate control, projector headlamps and
electrically foldable ORVM with welcome function.
The Tata Tiago is available in two engine options.
The 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine is good for 84 bhp of power
and 114 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel
motor churns out 69 bhp and 140 Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed
gearbox.
