Aston Martin and TAG Heuer are taking their
partnership beyond Formula One with two very special products. The companies have decided to
collaborate on a limited edition DBS Superleggera that comes complete with an
equally unique timepiece.
It’s called the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera TAG
Heuer Edition and it will be made in a run of just 50 cars, all in the same
specification. Each luxurious coupe will get a Monaco Black exterior paint
combined with carbon fiber accents including the roof, spoiler, diffuser, and
mirror caps.
Another distinguishing exterior feature of the
limited-edition DBS Superleggera is the set of high-performance Pirelli P-Zero
tires that feature red sidewall accents matching the red brake calipers. Red accents carry over inside the
car as well, with the seats featuring red stitching and red piping, as well as
red “Tag Heuer” logos embroidered into the seat backs. Wrapped in Alcantara and
leather, the sports seats also feature triangular quilting — as do the center
armrest, door panels, and Alcantara headliner.
Red stitching is present everywhere, even on the sun
visors, instrument panel cover, and center console. The center console and door
panels also feature a marble-like trim made of unspecified material.
As for the limited-edition watch that comes with the
car, TAG Heuer hasn’t released any photos or information yet but we’re sure
it’s going to match the exquisite character of the car. There are no pricing
details for the vehicle either but given the limited supply, it should cost
significantly more than a regular DBS Superleggera
