Kia has launched two new special editions of the
Stonic crossover and Picanto city car in the United Kingdom, called the Mixx
and Wave respectively. Available from £ 18,200, the Stonic Mixx is finished
in Clear White with a contrasting Orange roof. It gets orange accents inside as
well, alongside the black cloth and grey faux leather upholstery and other
special trim.
LED DRLs, LED combination taillights, 17-inch alloy
wheels, air conditioning, reversing camera, rear privacy glass, infotainment
with 7-inch screen, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and others are all
standard.
Customers have to settle for the 1.0-liter T-GDi
engine, rated at 118 PS and 171 Nm of torque. It
comes with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard and a dual-clutch seven-speed
as an option, which adds a £ 1,000 premium to the car’s price.
For the Picanto Wave, Kia is asking £ 11,895. In return, customers get a Celestial Blue bodywork shade,
Denim-style cloth and faux leather upholstery.
Other standard features in the city car are 15-inch
alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, air conditioning, 7-inch infotainment, DAB
radio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless charging pad for compatible
smartphones. Some white accents, satin chrome interior door handles and storage
box with sliding armrest in the central console round up the list of updates.
Kia is only offering the Picanto Wave with a
1.0-liter engine that’s making 66 PS and 96 Nm of
torque and is paired to a five-speed manual transmission.
