Have you ever wondered what would happen if something like the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento fused with the Terzo Millennio concept to create a really compact and futuristic-looking new model? That pretty much describes this Vega study, which is an independent digital effort. Aside from its highly aggressive styling, the Vega also comes with a very short wheelbase, little to no overhangs and a large panoramic roof.

As good as the Huracan is on the track, especially the Performante, Lamborghini could build something smaller, lighter and more agile, if of course they wanted to – or if there was serious demand for it. Since that’s not the case, all we can do is day dream about such a car, capable perhaps of giving Lotus a run for their money in terms of handling and overall agility. Of course, that doesn’t mean much if the product doesn’t look like it belongs on a Lamborghini assembly line, which thankfully, this Vega concept does.

It’s small, low and seemingly very wide. We also love the styling, both at the front and the rear, where it features a central exhaust system which can be seen spitting flames in one of the images.

Does this mean that the hypothetical baby Lambo is powered by an internal combustion engine? According to its designer, one Grigory Butin, it’s actually a hybrid system, although no further technical details were provided.
