The Mahindra XUV300 will come equipped with
segment-first features like dual-zone climate control system, sunroof and seven
airbags. Today Autocar India has more on that. Safety features on the Mahindra
XUV300 include front parking sensors, seven airbags, electronic stability
control, and hill hold assist among others.
The report claims that the top end W8 (O) variant of
the Mahindra XUV300 will feature dual-zone automatic climate control, front
parking sensors, a sunroof, seven airbags and 17-inch dual-tone alloys. The W8
trim features a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with in-built
navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, silver alloy wheels,
heated wing mirrors and three steering modes - Comfort, Normal and Sports.
The top-spec W8 and W8 (O) will also feature
micro-hybrid technology for the diesel engine option only. The W4 variant will
feature LED taillights, halogen headlamps and 16-inch steel wheels (without
caps) and a chrome garnish to the grille. The W6 trim will come equipped with
feature roof rails, wheel caps and a music system.
The Mahindra XUV300 will feature projector
headlights with LED DRL, wing mirror-integrated LED turn indicators, reverse
parking camera and rear wash & wiper on the top-end W8 and W8 (O) variants.
Additional features will include a colour instrument cluster, leather seat
upholstery, push-button start, tyre pressure monitoring system, height
adjustable driver’s seat, automatic headlamps and wipers, cruise control,
auto-dimming IRVM and much more.
Standard safety features on the Mahindra XUV300
include two airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and ABS with EBD. The W8
variant additionally features electronic stability control, hill-hold assist,
and front and rear fog lamps while the top-end W8 (O) gets ISOFIX child seat
mounts.
The XUV300 is expected to be priced in the bracket
of INR 8-12 lakh (ex-showroom) and will rival the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford
EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V and the upcoming Hyundai Styx (QXi).
