McLaren has come up
with three design collections for its 250 mph Speedtail hyper GT, curated by
the British automaker’s Color and Material team. The three collections are
dubbed Urbane, Visionary and Dynamic, and feature highlights such as body and
interior panels finished in Satin 1K or Gloss 1K, with interwoven gold visual
carbon fiber or anodized aluminum. Meanwhile, interior options include bespoke
electro-chromatic glazing tints, nubuck and aniline leather, TPT carbon
surfaces and more.
Urbane
This collection
houses three different themes, one of them being ‘Stratosphere‘, which sees the
Speedtail finished in gloss 1K full visual carbon fiber with the contour pack,
brushed light blue anodized aluminum, platinum with TPT carbon inlay badging,
and a cool-hued cabin with a metallic light blue driver seat and light grey
passenger seats. Finally, there’s the bespoke navy painted edge with navy
contrast stitching.
Visionary
This is the second
collection and it includes themes like ‘Astral‘, which is said to have been
inspired by the UK’s wealth of nautical heritage, hence the navy blue interior,
nubuck bespoke navy passenger seats, full aniline leather navy driver’s seat,
Nebular quilt and the digital print on the nubuck navy leather upper trim. On
the outside, this Speedtail theme offers a bespoke orange with silver pinstripe
finish, gloss 1K visual carbon fiber and white gold 18 carat with TPT inlay
badging.
Dynamic
As for the third
collection, this one is meant to be more sporty, futuristic and sumptuous,
according to McLaren. Here, you’ll find the ‘Bloodline‘ theme, which is
distinguished by a bespoke red exterior with gloss black diamond cut wheels,
featuring a light copper edge and silver brake calipers.
Inside, there’s a
full aniline bespoke red driver seat, while the passengers sit on semi aniline
bespoke white seats. Meanwhile, the steering wheel clasp, paddle shifters,
window and door bezel surround are all highlighted in TPT carbon quartz white.
The McLaren
Speedtail features a 1,050 PS petrol-electric hybrid powertrain and
can accelerate from zero to 300 km/h in just 12.8 seconds.
