Suzuki has launched a special edition of the its
supermini in the UK, called the Swift Attitude. It’s based on the entry-level
SZ3, to which it adds a few extra gizmos, for a starting price of £ 13,499, or £ 1,000 more than the SZ3.
Available in solid Fervent Red and metallic Pure
White, Premium Silver, Mineral Grey, Super Black and Burning Red, as a £ 485 option, the Swift Attitude comes with a few exterior design
updates. The mesh front grille with chrome trim, carbon effect front, side and
rear skirts, rear upper spoiler and black/polished 16-inch alloy wheels
differentiate the special edition from the rest of the Swift family.
The extra bits join the list of standard gear found
in the SZ3. Among them, clients will find rear privacy glass, LED daytime
running lights, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning and DAB
radio with Bluetooth.
Suzuki is offering this version of the Swift solely
with a petrol engine, namely the 1.2-liter Dualjet four-cylinder unit that puts
out 90 PS and is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. Under the NEDC regs, the Swift
1.2 averages 60.1 mpg UK (4.7 l/100 km / 50 mpg US) and emits 108 g/km of CO2,
whereas according to the new WLTP standard, the carbon dioxide emissions are
124 g/km.
