The F-150 Harley-Davidson has made a comeback for
the new model year. Only this time, it has nothing to do with Ford, as the
motorcycle maker partnered up with Tuscany Motor Company to make it. It’s on display at the 2019
Chicago Auto Show.
The 2019 F-150 Harley-Davidson Edition is offered
with a choice of three exterior colors, called Agate Black, White Platinum and
Leadfoot Grey. Pricing starts at US$ 97,415, US$ 97,710 and US$ 98,433, respectively,
and all of them get a host of standard exterior and interior features that draw
a clear line between them and Ford’s stock pickup.
New grille, light bar integrated into the front
bumper, tow hooks, skid plates, electrically operated running boards, fender
flares, Raptor-style hood insert, custom bumper covers and some colorful
accents are found on the outside. The special edition truck rides on exclusive
22-inch rims, wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires.
The deep tinted windows prevent bystanders from
looking inside. However, once the doors open, the new F-150 Harley-Davidson
reveals its leather seats with orange diamond pattern, stainless steel gauges,
racing pedals and special accents on the dashboard, steering wheel and door
panels. The numbered plaque, door sill plates and exclusive floor mats are also
found in the cabin, along with several Harley logos.
Just like the study that previewed it, the special
edition F-150 uses a BDS Suspension lift and Fox shocks. Harley-Davidson is already
accepting orders for the truck and says that it’s available in a limited
number, without revealing how many will be built.
