After unveiling the limited edition F-Type Checkered
Flag late last year, Jaguar has announced U.S. pricing that starts from US$ 71,900
for the Coupe and US$ 74,300 for the Convertible. Compared to regular F-Type
versions, which kick off from US$ 61,600 (US$ 64,700 for the Convertible), the
Checkered Flag boasts visual enhancements for the exterior as well as the
cabin.
Powertrain options include a 296 HP turbocharged
four-cylinder Ingenium petrol or a 380 HP supercharged V6, both coupled to an
eight-speed Quickshift transmission.
What sets the Checkered Flag F-Type apart from the
rest of the range are highlights such as the Black Contrast roof on the Coupe,
as well as the luxurious Ebony Windsor leather interior with Performance seats,
embossed headrests and Dark Brushed aluminum center console trim finisher.
Then there’s the steering wheel, which features a
discrete Checkered Flag logo and a red leather band at the 12 o’clock position.
Other features include the Black Design Pack,
20-inch Gloss Black wheels, red brake calipers, heated and cooled seats and
Jaguar’s InControl Touch Pro infotainment with a Meridian sound system, a suite
of connected services and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
