Infiniti has released a Canada-exclusive special edition for its hottest models, the Q50 Red Sport sedan and Q60 Red Sport Coupe. It’s called the “I-Line,” which stands for “Inspired Line,” and it has just debuted at the Montreal Auto Show. Offered solely in Canada, this special edition features mostly cosmetic upgrades aimed at enhancing the sporty character of the two Red Sport models.

Both I-Line versions get a blacked out Infiniti Sport Grille, custom glossy black alloys in 19 inches for the Q50 sedan and 20 inches for the Q60 coupe, a carbon fiber rear deck lid spoiler and a unique I-Line badge. Interestingly, the styling updates look quite similar to those applied by Larte Design to the Infiniti Q60.

Since they are based on the Red Sport versions of the Infiniti Q50 and Q60, these variants are powered by a same twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 that delivers 400 hp at 6,400 rpm and 474 Nm of torque at 1,600-5,200 rpm. Mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels (AWD is standard in Canada), the V6 engine allows for a 0-96 km/h sprint of under 5 seconds.

The Q50 Red Sport I-Line and Q60 Red Sport I-Line will arrive in Canadian dealerships in February 2019 and will be priced from CA$ 56,195 and CA$ 65,295, respectively.
