Lexus has readied a limited edition NX F-Sport,
called the Black Line, which will arrive at U.S. dealers in February. Pricing starts at US$ 48,575 for the
NX 300 F-Sport front-wheel drive version, whereas the all-wheel drive model
adds a US$ 1,400 premium. Limited to 1,000 units, the NX Black Line features lower
body side graphics and forged 19-inch alloy wheels. Customers will have to
choose between three exterior colors called Ultra White, Obsidian and Atomic
Silver.
Unique to this NX are the Arctic White and Black
seats, and the Mark Levinson premium sound system, with 14 speakers. Elsewhere,
the SUV gets a black headliner, unique floor mats and cargo mat, in addition to
a selection of standard items, such as the 10.3-inch infotainment system, Apple
CarPlay and Enform Wi-Fi, with 4GB of space included for the first year.
The Comfort Package is standard and adds heated and
ventilated front seats, moonroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror, electric
tailgate, Blind Spot Monitor, Intuitive Parking Assist and tilt/telescoping
steering column. Active Sound Control, which plays the engine note through the
speakers, and the Lexus Safety System+ bundle of driving assistance features,
are also included.
The NX Black Line Edition will premiere at the 2019
Chicago Auto Show next Thursday, alongside the LC Inspiration Series that was
unveiled online this week.
