Headlightmag reports that Isuzu MU-X is slated to get
another facelift, in March 2019. In sync with this, a camouflaged version of
the updated model was even snapped recently.
The 2019 Isuzu MU-X will be available in new red
exterior colour, with a new set of dual-tone machined alloy wheels, an updated
bumper and six airbags. Details on the interior updates are scarce at the
moment, but the SUV could receive the trim and upholstery revisions that have
debuted in the Chinese-spec model.
Specifications will remain completely unchanged. In
Thailand, the Isuzu MU-X is available with two engine options - RZ4E-TC
1.9-litre four-cylinder diesel and 4JJ1-TCS 3.0-litre four-cylinder diesel. The
former outputs a maximum power of 150 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm,
while the latter outputs 177 PS and 380 Nm. The former is paired with
a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the
latter is available with only the AT. A 4WD system is available, but only on
selecting the bigger engine.
