The Taycan is one of the most important Porsche
models for a long, long time and the future of the brand’s electrified vehicles
will largely depend on how the innovative sedan is received by customers. While the Taycan will debut later
this year, Porsche is remaining rather mum when it comes to specifications and
what kind of variants it will be sold in. One version we’re certain we will
never, ever see is a GT3 – but one cannot stop people from daydreaming.

EV Forum. Like the 911 GT3, the hardcore electric sedan depicted includes an
overhauled front fascia with an enlarged grille and a large splitter.
Additionally, the Taycan has been fitted with wheels straight from the 911 GT3 as
well as the same large carbon ceramic brakes and yellow calipers. Final
alterations include extended side skirts and a large fixed rear wing.
Porsche has already revealed that it will offer
three versions: the Taycan, Taycan 4S, and Taycan Turbo. While the first two
are self-explanatory to anyone familiar with Weissach’s naming scheme, the
Turbo is a bit confusing, as it will still be a battery electric and, thus,
will have no turbochargers at all. Guess that this has been chosen to indicate
that the dual electric motors, which will reportedly put out over 600 hp in
entry-level guise, will have an even higher output in the Turbo.
