Skoda has introduced a new version of the Octavia in
the United Kingdom, called the SE Drive. It’s available in both hatchback and
estate body styles and can be ordered from £ 20,155. The base model comes with a 115
PS 1.0-liter petrol engine, but clients can also spec the more
powerful 150 PS 1.5-liter TSI or the 1.6-liter TDI diesel,
with its 115 PS, whidh has a starting price of £ 24,715. All powertrains can be equipped with the DSG dual-clutch
transmission.
The new Octavia SE Drive adds more standard kit for
a £ 550 premium over the SE. The additional features include 17-inch
Denom alloy wheels, Amundsen navigation system, integrated Wi-Fi and textile
floor mat, which, according to Skoda, would cost £ 1,300 if
ordered separately.
The SE Drive also sports a multi-function
leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, heated side mirrors,
rear parking sensors, cruise control, Driver Fatigue sensor, Driving Mode
selection and Driver Personalization, which includes three keys. Oh. and an
umbrella under the passenger seat. Which should come in handy in the UK.
Skoda is also offering the Octavia in the S, SE Technology,
SE L, Sportline, L&K, vRS and vRS Challenge in the UK, with prices ranging
between £ 18,310 and £ 30,085 for the
hatchback. The Estate is offered in the same trim levels, priced from £ 19,510 to £ 31,285. Additionally, it can also be
ordered in the Scout spec, from £ 29,310.
